作为当代中国文学最高奖,“茅盾文学奖”本身就意味着一种立场,一种文学观,是国家意识形态在文学领域的直接体现,也是当代长篇小说发展的基本价值定位。茅奖应关注文学的思想性、艺术性和探索性,肩负起提高大众文学审美水平之责。茅奖是对中国当代长篇小说总体高度的认识和设想,既面对已有的创作成果,也面对未来即将诞生的文学作品。文学批评则应坚守审美现代性和历史现代性的有机融合,引导当代长篇小说创作在历史哲学、社会哲学和生命哲学层面,重构一种稳定的精神秩序和坚实的叙事品质。
As the highest award of contemporary Chinese literature, “Mao Dun Literature Prize” itself means a position and a kind of literary view. It is the direct embodiment of state ideology in the field of literature and also the basic value orientation of the development of contemporary novels. Mao prize should pay attention to the literary ideological, artistic and exploratory, shoulder the responsibility of improving the aesthetic level of popular literature. The prize is an understanding and assumption of the overall height of contemporary Chinese novels. It not only faces the existing creative achievements but also faces the forthcoming literary works in the future. Literary criticism should adhere to the organic integration of aesthetic modernity and historical modernity and guide contemporary novels to reconstruct a stable mental order and a solid narrative quality in the aspects of historical philosophy, social philosophy and life philosophy.
