On March 27, 2017, the negotiation conference on the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (hereinafter “the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons”) was held in New York, United States. A total of 116 countries and regions attended the conference. On the eve of the meeting, the nuclear-armed countries such as the United States, Russia, Britain, France and France said they would not participate in the conference.
