学业不良的确定与评价标准有关“学业不良”是前苏联教育工作者和研究者常用的一个术语,指的就是学生学习成绩低下的现象。那么,怎样的成绩才算是“低下”呢?在实践中,学业不良的确定首先与评价的参照标准有关。根据不同的参照标准,学业不良可以分为三种类型,即相对学业不良、绝对学业不良与成绩不足。相对学业不良以一个特定群体的平均学业成绩作为参照标准,将明显低于平均水平的视为学业不良。按照这种观点,不同层次的学校都可以有比例大致相同的学业不良学生。这样,集中了学习尖子的重点中学也就有了相当数量的“差生”,而生源与办学条件都比较差的“薄弱学校”
