英语新课程改革在各基层学校已经推行了近10年,让整个基础教育发生了可喜的变化,这种“可喜”的最大醒目之处在于全新的教育教学理念已经融于日常课堂,渗透于教学过程;已经洗礼了广大教师的脑海,指导着他们的教育教学行为;已经惠泽了广大中小学生,促使他们更好更快地发展。小学英语教学改革的根本出发点在于提高教学的有效性,让学生学得轻松,学得快乐,学得扎实,我们千万不可为了追随新课程的大流,刻意地勉强地以新课程的思想武装我们的课堂,只注重了课堂教学的形式,而忽视了课堂教学的本质——实效。如果教师的课堂是低效甚至无效的,那么即使这堂课再出色,再精彩,也好比无源之水或无本之木,毫无立足之处,毫无生命灵魂,因此确保和提高英语课堂教学的有效性,才是英语新课程改革必须遵循的原则,才是新课程研究与实施的基点,才是广大英语教育工作者共同关注的问题。
