A total of 1,091 urine samples and 1,171 fecal samples were examined. As a result, the average infection rate of Schistosoma mansoni was 21.4%, highest in the southwestern part of Zizan, 50% followed by Medina in the northeast, reaching 31.2% . The average infection rate of Schistosoma mansoni was 15.9%, the highest was Medina (31.4%), followed by Taif in central and southern Taiwan and Riyadh in central and northern China (20.0% and 19.6% respectively). Also, 100 water bodies in 46 villages were examined. Most of the villages found the intermediate host, Arabidopsis thaliana, Biomphalaria arabica, of Schistosoma mansoni, while the intermediate host of S. schistosome found a bladder in the northeastern province of Riyadh
