As one of the most effective and important detection and processing methods in nanotechnology, scanning tunneling microscope (STM) has drawn increasing attention as nanotechnology fever. This article briefly describes the working principle and application of the STM · IPC-205B type machine. The STM sample with specific examples shows that STM has a broad application prospect.
