赣州根艺名片赣州市素有根雕传统,目前有中国根艺美术大师3人,高级根艺美术师7人,根艺美术师30多人,根艺专业从业人员3000余人,根艺爱好者10000多人。至今为止,赣州市根雕艺术获得中国根石艺术大展、中国花卉博览会、中国国际森林产品博览会、刘开渠根艺奖等全国性金奖21项、银奖24项、铜奖及优秀作品奖160多项。近年来出版了《根艺技法》、《魏夫昌根雕艺术》、《田发建根艺盆竹艺术》、《天趣骄子》、《中国根艺之乡根石艺术精品荟萃》等根艺技法与作品集。2000年章贡区荣获文化部颁发的“中国民间艺术(根雕)之乡”荣誉称号。
