自19世纪末电影的出现,定格动画也随之产生,定格动画作为动画门类的一个分支,一直具备其独特的魅力,定格动画是通过逐格拍摄对象然后使其连续放映的动画手法,从而创造出仿佛活了一般的人物和人们能想象到的任何奇异角色。然而由于拍摄工程浩大,制作成本颇高,制作周期较长,定格动画并没有走上动画产业的一线舞台,一直边缘化的默默发展数年。直到2006年,由蒂姆·伯顿执导的定格动画电影《僵尸新娘》获得了第78届奥斯卡最佳动画长
Since the advent of the late 19th century movies, stop motion animation has also taken place. Stop motion animation, as a branch of the animation genre, has always had its own unique charm. Stop motion animation is an animated technique that moves objects through a grid and then shows them continuously. As if living ordinary characters and any singular character one can imagine. However, due to the huge shooting project, high production costs, and long production cycle, freeze-frame animation has not taken the first stage in the animation industry and has been quietly marginalized for years.
