On May 14, the briefing on the economic situation of China’s industrial textile associations organized by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Textile Retired Cadres was held in Beijing. More than 60 retired directors, veterans and veteran professors attended the meeting. The briefing invited Li Lingshen, president of China’s industrial textiles industry association, to make a report titled “Industrial Textiles for the Strategy of a Powerful Nation in Textile Industry” and explained to the old comrades the concept of industrial textiles and its importance to national defense and the national economy
