2009年铁道部将全面强化安全基础,加大建设管理力度,进一步提高自主创新能力。全年计划基本建设完成投资6000亿元,新线铺轨5148公里、复线铺轨3462公里,投产新线5849公里、复线4662公里、电气化铁路5606公里。预计全国铁路旅客发送量将达到16.1亿人,同比增加1.5亿人;货物发送量33亿吨,同比持平。
In 2009, the Ministry of Railways will comprehensively strengthen the safety foundation, increase construction management and further enhance the capability of independent innovation. The annual plan capital construction investment 60000000000 yuan, the new line laying 5148 kilometers, double track laying 3462 kilometers, put into operation a new line of 5849 kilometers, 4662 kilometers of double lines, 5606 kilometers of electrified railway. It is expected that the national railway passenger throughput will reach 1.61 billion, an increase of 150 million over the same period of last year; the volume of deliveries of 3.3 billion tons will be flat compared with the same period of last year.
