今年是世博年,同时也是淮海路110周年。淮海中路,辟筑于1900年,辟通于1901年。辟筑之初,东段名西江路,西段名宝昌路。1906年10月10日两段统合,以法租界公董局总董宝昌(Paul Brunat)之名,统称宝昌路,又称勃吕纳路(同名异译)。1915年6月21日,由法公董局以欧战时法国元帅霞飞(Joffke)之名更名为霞飞路。1943年10月10日更名泰山路,1945年11月28日,又宣布改称林森路,1950年5月改今名淮海路。淮海路经历了110年的风风雨雨成了上海著名的商业街。
This year is the Expo year, but also the 110th anniversary of Huaihai Road. Huaihai Road, opened up in 1900, provision in 1901.
