对于没有特效方法作道支护,喷射混凝土不失为提供混凝土来支护隧道表层的办法………。用于坚硬岩石隧道的喷射混凝土大多数实际上是不必要的……。在软弱层中,较薄的喷射混凝土层不能阻止在强大岩石压力下挤压而造成的大幅度位移。去年九月在哥伦比亚Boy-ace paipa召开的第四届工程基金会关于地下支护结构的喷射混凝土的会议上,付主席Terence McCusker就提出了这一点,而这一点常常为喷射混凝土崇拜者所忽视。
