2010 Prizefather Prize winner Lei Aman Trout is a contemporary American West Coast language poetic outstanding representative poet, she regarded creation as a way of thinking, tirelessly recorded on the American society and the existence of the nature of observation and reflection. She makes good use of collages and mash-ups the seemingly unrelated “Amoy ” fragment in different contexts to show her superb language reorganization and humane care. Her poems are simplified by words and short by poetic lines. They are often divided into independent sections by numbers or asterisks, which reproduce the breaking of thinking and the limitation of knowledge in unexpected lines. They are deep in a Williamsian minimalist style filled with Rich skepticism.
