成都动植物检疫局,成立于1996年,是原国家动植物检疫局在四川省设置的出入境动植物检疫机构。其主要工作包括:空港旅检、空运货检、国际铁路货检、国际邮包检疫、集装箱检疫、以及部分水运货检等。其出口检疫主要有:冻肉制品类、动物性医药原料类、皮张类、毛绒类、种畜类、中药材类、野生食用菌类、林木制品类、豆类、盆景花卉类等;进口检疫主要有:水生食用活动物及产品类、种苗类、粮食类等。我局自成立以来,注意总结检疫工作的经验,其中在监管方而,已形成了自己的特色。据统计,1998年,对动物及其产品的进境检疫完成107批次,同比增加59%,货值增加350%;植物及其产品进境检疫共完成102批次,同比增加56%,货值增加45%。在出境检疫中,动物及其产品完成检疫995批次,同比增加159%;货值增加100%;出境植物及其产品检疫共完成2654批次,同比有所增加;此外,还检疫出境航班824架次;进境航班827架次,对进境飞机消毒率达100%。为四川省农、牧、渔业生产的安全和对外经济贸易做出了应有的贡献。
