为了提高发动机的效率,采用可变配气相位、增加气门数量、减小气门系的惯性质量等措施受到普遍重视。要增加气门数量,就要求摇臂等零件尺寸尽可能小,凸轮的宽度也要尽可能薄,凸轮的极限表面压力应大于588.4MPa,因此,所用材料要轻而强韧,表面耐磨,只有采用复合技术才能提供满足这些要求的材料。下面以摇臂为对象,探讨了能满足上述要求的材料及工艺。
