《数学课程标准(实验稿)》将“解决问题”列为数学课程目标的四大领域之一,而让学生“形成解决问题的一些基本策略,体验解决问题策略的多样性,发展实践能力与创新精神”则是这一目标的具体内容之一。如何实现以上这些目标?苏教版小学数学教材对此做了有益的尝试。在第二学段每学期的教材中,苏教版教材都安排了《解决问题的策略》单元,内容包括列表、画图、假设、转化等等。这么明确地指出解决问题的策略,在其他版本的小学数学教材中未曾见到。
