1991年10月29日至11月3日,“全国新时期文艺论争学术讨论会”在山城重庆召开.这次学术讨论会由中国艺术研究院马克思主义文艺理论研究所、《文艺理论与批评》、国家教委社会科学发展研究中心、《光明日报》文艺部、《文艺研究》、《文学评论》编辑部、《湖北社会科学》杂志社、北京大学、中国人民大学、北京师范大学、武汉大学、华中师范大学、四川大学、重庆师范学院、西南师范大学等高校中文系及重庆出版社共16个单位联合发起.来自全国各地的近百名文艺家、理论家、学者、教授及青年文艺理论和教学工作者参加了会议.
From October 29 to November 3, 1991, “Symposium on Literary and Art Debate in the New Period of China” was held in the mountain city of Chongqing.The Symposium was sponsored by the Institute of Literature and Art Theory of China Academy of Art, “Theory and Criticism of Literature and Art” , The State Education Commission Social Science Research Center of Development, “Guangming Daily” Department of Literature and Art, “literature and art research”, “Literature Review” editorial board, “Hubei Social Sciences” magazine, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Wuhan University, Huazhong Normal University, Sichuan University, Chongqing Teachers College, Southwest China Normal University and Chongqing University Press and a total of 16 units jointly sponsored from across the country nearly a hundred artists, theorists, scholars, professors and young literary theory and teaching Workers attended the meeting.
