The concept of effective teaching originated from Western teaching and scientific movement in the first half of the 20th century. After the teaching effectiveness verification exercise influenced by American pragmatism philosophy and behavioral psychology, it attracted the attention of educators from all over the world. The dominant view of teaching in Western educational theory before the 20th century was that “teaching is art.” If we teach teaching as an art, then physical education can be regarded as a lively teaching art. However, in order to make the teaching of PE classroom lively and effective, teachers must have an in-depth and unique understanding and recognition of the basic teaching objectives, teaching process, teaching methods and teaching contents
