前面我们已全文转译了F.S.Conaut的“使用SI单位制”一文[Rub.Chem.Techn.,48(1)1,(1975)],从中可以看出,国际单位制具有很多优点,其主要优点是它的通用性和统一性,它只用7个基本单位,两个辅助单位,十五个有着专门名称及特有代号的导出单位,十八个供单位的倍数及分数用的词冠共计38个名称,就可以包括几乎所有科学领域及日常生活中的全部计量单位。这比原来表示各物理量所用的单位要少得多,简单的多。而且国际单位制具有很好的一致性,比较科学,在很多方面比现有单位要合理得多。它已给国际贸易和科技交流及正常交往带来很多方便和好处,以致可以认为,未来世界各国的产品都有可能标准化。
