■什么是拍卖人的鉴定权拍卖人的鉴定权主要是指拍卖人有权辨别和确定拍卖标的的真伪和优劣。一、鉴定目的。拍卖人行使鉴定权是在行使知情权的基础上对拍卖标的进一步加深了解,从而合理定性,把握质量,对广大竞买人和买受人负责,包括对其中的消费者负责,同时有效维护拍卖人的良好形象。二、鉴定方式。拍卖人有权选择多种方式对拍卖标的进行鉴定。如《拍卖法》第四十三条第一款规定:“拍卖人认为需要对拍卖标的进行鉴定的,可以进行鉴定。”这里强调的是“认为需要”的才鉴定,而不是必须鉴定;且既可以由拍卖人自己鉴定,亦可以由拍卖人以外的其他人如专门的鉴定机构鉴定;且既可以采
