杨柳枯叶蛾Gastropacha populifolia Esper是近年来辽阳地区苗圃和幼林地发生的一种食叶害虫。发生严重时,能将树叶吃光,影响树木生长。我们于1979年对此虫进行了观察,初报如下: 分布、寄主及为害: 国内分布于东北、华北、华东和西北部分省区。国外分布于欧洲、苏联、朝鲜和日本,是一种杂食性害虫。除为害杨柳外还为害苹果、李、梨、杏、桃、栎等树种。在辽阳地区主要为害北京杨和小青杨,幼虫从叶缘取食叶肉,使叶片形成大型缺刻,有时将叶全部吃光,仅剩叶柄和主脉。
