休·斯图宾斯(Hugh Stubbins)1912～美国亚拉巴美出生的斯图宾斯1939年成为哈佛大学设计研究生院格罗皮鸟斯的合作人。他在剑桥设立自己的事务所,并在这个地区建造了一些最优秀的现代化住宅,运用木材、玻璃和石料很好地体现了格罗皮鸟斯与布劳耶的风格。特别是在斯图宾斯受托设计了由美国投资建造的重要工程上有争议的西柏林会议厅后,他的实践活动不断增多。从此,他转而致力于教育、商业、工业和公共建筑的设计
Hugh Stubbins 1912-Alabama-American Stubbins was born in 1939 as a collaborator of Harvard University Graduate School of Design Gropikats. He set up his own office in Cambridge and built some of the finest modern homes in the area. The use of wood, glass and stone well reflected the style of Gropikats and Brauer. Especially after Stubbins was commissioned to design the controversial West Berlin conference hall, an important project invested and built by the United States, his practice activities continued to increase. Since then, he has turned his attention to the design of education, commerce, industry and public buildings.
