北京33号桃是北京市林果研究所用大久保和绿化5号杂交育成的。该桃在北京市场上售价居各桃果之冠。九七年最高批发每公斤11元。价格的诱惑使农民产生了极大的栽培兴趣。它具有以下四大优点: 一、树姿开张,花芽形成节位低,结果早易丰产。二年生树单株结果34个,产量9公斤,最大果重358克。成年树亩产2500公斤以上。二、果型特大,外观漂亮。果实圆形,平均单果重250克以上,大果600克以上。果实底色黄白,全面着粉红色。
