By briefly describing some hidden dangers of engineering in main dam buildings such as main dam, flood discharge power tunnel and spillway, the paper explores the design scheme and construction technology to eliminate the hidden danger and puts forward corresponding measures to reinforce and eliminate hazards to ensure the safe operation of reservoir .
