此图描绘的是汉代隐士梁鸿和其妻孟光“相敬如宾,举案齐眉”的故事。下部竹树相杂,溪水环绕;上部则远山巨峰,平远山岭。画中梁鸿端坐榻前,正潜心于学问;而孟光则恭敬地双足跪地,举着盘盏,递向案上。全幅结构繁复,但景物设置都错落有致,独具匠心。
This picture depicts the Han Dynasty hermit Liang Hong and his wife Meng " The lower part of the bamboo tree is mixed, surrounded by streams; the upper part of the mountain peaks, Pingyuan mountains. Liang Zhong-Liang sit in front of the couch, are devoted themselves to learning; and Meng Guang respectfully knees to both feet, holding the plate light, handed to the case. The entire structure complicated, but the scenery settings are patchwork, originality.
