日本味素公司与日本山之内制药厂共同研制开发了一种新型糖尿病治疗药物——AY4166。AY4166是氨基酸中的一种——苯丙氨酸的衍生物。它具有使血糖快速下降之特点。与过去不同的特点是,以往在用过糖尿病治疗药物后,多半血糖会持续下降,而 AY4166则经过几小时的周期后,又可使血糖值恢复,以便于血糖值的控制与管理。研制部门已决定用半年时间进行第一期临床试验,从今年4月开始再进入二期临床试
Japan Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. and Japan’s Yamanouchi Pharmaceutical Factory jointly developed a new type of diabetes treatment drug --AY4166. AY4166 is one of the amino acids - a phenylalanine derivative. It has the rapid decline in blood glucose characteristics. Different from the past, the characteristics of past use of diabetes drugs, most of the blood sugar will continue to decline, while AY4166 after several hours of cycle, but also to restore blood glucose levels in order to facilitate the control and management of blood glucose levels.
