上海实施“科教兴国”战略,是围绕培育创新源泉、塑造创新主体、培养人才和优化环境四个方面加强技术创新体系建设的。这有力地促进了高新技术产业的发展。2000年上海科技对经济增长的贡献率达到50.34％,高新技术产业在工业总产值中的比重达到20.6％,高新技术产品占外贸出口额的比重达到18.1％。
Shanghai’s implementation of the strategy of “rejuvenating China through science and education” is to strengthen the building of a technological innovation system through four aspects: fostering sources of innovation, shaping innovation subjects, training personnel and optimizing the environment. This effectively promoted the development of high-tech industries. In 2000, the contribution rate of Shanghai science and technology to economic growth reached 50.34%, that of high and new technology industry reached 20.6% of the total industrial output value, and that of high-tech products accounted for 18.1% of the total export value.
