Traditional concepts in international security have changed since the Cold War along with an increase in the number and variety of non-official parties acting in a range of roles.The influence of private military companies exemplifies one causal agent in how international security in armed conflicts,national non-combat military operations,and even UN peace-keeping operations are shifting,with the potential to alter the foundations of warfare.
