(I) Looking at the changes in China’s pattern, regional economic development is a good perspective. Regional development has become a new competitive unit of the market economy. We have faced more than just a single product, market competition of a single enterprise, nor is it just an industry or a region fighting alone. The intense collision of the regional plates has opened the curtain of competition on a new and broader level. With its unprecedented scale accumulation and integration of production elements such as capital, technology, information and human resources, with its thriving and distinctive scale advantages, factor efficiency and integrated innovation, it has increasingly changed the path of economic evolution.
