人们在交际中所使用的基本语言单位不是词或句子,而是表达相对完整意思的语篇。《普通高中英语课程标准》对高中学生的语篇能力提出了更高要求,近几年高考试题也增加了对考生语篇能力的测试。高中英语教学中的课文是以篇章的形式出现的。所有这些都在呼唤一种行之有效的课文教学方法。英语教学传统的以词、句为单位,注重语法讲解的教学方式已不适合新的形势和要求了。就语篇理论结合具体课文教学进行分析,借以抛砖引玉。
The basic unit of language that people use in communication is not words or sentences but rather texts that convey relatively complete meaning. “Common High School English Curriculum Standards” put forward higher requirements for high school students’ discourse ability.
