由香港南源永芳集团公司董事长姚美良先生倡办的,以弘扬中华文化、振奋民族精神为主旨的《纪念黄遵宪先生当代书画艺术国际展览》,是一次“纪念先贤,昭示来者”,给人以教育、启迪和催人奋进的活动,是姚先生发起、组织的纪念中国近代史开端150周年系列活动的一个重要组成部分。自去年六月姚美良先生和《瞭望》杂志社在北京共同举办纪念中国近代史开端150周年、弘扬中华文化座谈会以来,香港南源永芳集团公司投入了很大的财力和精力,在半年多一点的时间内,组织海内外130多位书画家,创作出思想性强,形式、风格异彩纷呈的138幅作品,既体现了黄遵宪这个历史人物那种走向世界、情系中华、谊结五洲的精神境界和忧国忧民的爱国情操,也体现出姚美良先生为“振兴中华民族竭尽绵薄”的拳拳爱国之心,以及广大艺术家与姚先生心心相印的感情共鸣。这个展览自去年十二月在广州首展之后,已先后在新加坡、上海、北京、武汉、南京展出。这次到杭展出是第七站。根据由姚美良先生捐资100万元而在浙江美术学院设立的“永芳艺术奖金”章程,在这次正式展出前对参展作品进行首次评奖。来自中央、四川、广州美术学院、鲁迅美术院和上海、北京、福建、南京及在杭的共计19位专家、教授,对所有参展作品进行了认真的评议,最后以投票方式决选出获奖作品。其中:获一等奖的为赵奇的《生民》;获二等奖的是马宏道的《直陈图强策》;白德松、石磊、黄山的《冯将军歌》和王怀庆的《走向世界的人》;获三等奖的是黄发榜的《血溅八里台》、赵延年的《湘江泪别》和冯远的《古从军乐》。展览开幕后,南源永芳集团公司又邀请近60位专家、教授和社会各界人士举行座谈会。与会人士对这次画展的成功,对实业家与艺术家联手协作的有益尝试予以充分肯定。同时,为了使这个展览进一步扩大影响和获得更大的社会效益,在精选参展作品、进一步充实提高和装帧效果等方面,提出了一些中肯的意见。下面摘要刊登这次座谈会的部分发言和文稿,供参考。
The International Exhibition of Contemporary Art of Calligraphy and Painting by Huang Zunxian, advocated by Mr. Yao Meiliang, Chairman of Hong Kong Nam Yong Fong Group Corporation, is an exhibition commemorating the pioneers and demonstrating people with the theme of promoting Chinese culture and inspiring the national spirit. With education, enlightenment and inspiring activities, it is an important part of a series of activities initiated and organized by Mr. Yao to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the beginning of modern history in China. According to the charter of “Yongfang Art Bonus” set up by Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts with a donation of 1 million Yuan by Mr. Yao Meiliang, the first prize for the exhibition will be presented before this formal exhibition. A total of 19 experts and professors from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and Shanghai, Beijing, Fujian, Nanjing and Hang in Hangzhou have carefully reviewed all the works and finally voted for the winning entries . Among them: won the first prize for the “living people” of Zhao Qi; the second prize is Ma Hongdao’s “Straight Chen Tuqiang policy”; Bodearson, Shi Lei, Huangshan’s “Feng General Song” and Wang Huaiqing’s "Going to the World Who won the Third Prize were Huang Faobang’s Blood Splashed Balitai, Zhao Yannian’s Xiangjiang Teeping, and Feng Yuan’s Military Liberty. After the opening of the exhibition, Nanyuan Yongfang Group Company invited nearly 60 experts, professors and people from all walks of life to hold a symposium. Participants fully affirmed the success of this exhibition and the helpful attempt of the industrialists and artists to work together. In the meantime, in order to make this exhibition further expand its influence and obtain more social benefits, some pertinent suggestions have been put forward in the selection of exhibition works, further enhancement and improvement of the decoration effect and so on.
