绿宝石是由早酥和幸水两个亲本杂交育成的,是目前成熟最早的优质早熟梨推荐品种。果实于7月中旬成熟,比浙江省早熟梨主要发展品种西子绿和翠冠等早7~10天。果实圆形,果皮绿色,外观漂亮。平均单果重235克,大果可达400~500克。果肉白色,肉质细嫩,松脆多汁,含可溶性固形物在13%以上,最高可达19%,甜味浓,品质优。果实较耐贮藏,贮后果皮转黄色,富有香气。
