无土栽培的营养液配方很多,依植物种类、生长季节和栽培地区而不同。营养液中的主要营养成份和数量一般是:氮100~250ppm、磷50~100ppm、钾150~400ppm、钙200~300ppm 和镁50~70ppm。各种植物对营养元素的要求是有区别的:如菠菜、白菜、莴苣等叶菜类,要增加氮的供应;瓜果、块茎和块根类,如黄瓜、南瓜和马铃薯等要增加磷的供应。在气温高阳光充足的地区,要减少钾的供应。此外,还要根据水质情况作某些变更。如水中钙、镁离子含量高,则要减少钙、镁的供应。配制溶液可使用井水、河水、泉水和自来水,肥料可使用一般农用化肥和工业粗制化学药品,以降低成本。但在使用前要对它们的成份和纯度有所了解,以便计算出适宜的用量。
