Ectropis obliqua Prout is one of the main pests of the tea tree in our tea area, especially in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui tea areas. The outbreak of the outbreak in Zhejiang Province in the 1950s to the early 1960s broke out again after 1986. In 1988, over 500,000 moths were harmed in tea farms, causing the tea trees in some tea gardens to become polished. Many studies have been made on the biological characteristics of the tea scallop in the 1950s and 1960s, revealing the law of accelerated development and shortening of the period as the temperature rises. Since the seventies has made a large number of natural enemies of investigation and research. However, the influence of temperature on its developmental progress, except Hou Jianwen et al. (1979) measured the starting point of its first generation of eggs and the effective accumulated temperature, and the rest of the insect states have not been reported yet. In order to cooperate with the production and carry out the prediction of this pest, the author made a preliminary study on its larval, pre-pupa, pupa, adult and entire generation development starting point and effective accumulated temperature. The results are reported hereafter for reference.
