The black seed grass Nigella sativa L. (NS) seeds and oil have diuretic, digestive and cough-relieving functions. It has been reported that thyme in this plant has a protective effect on isolated rat hepatocytes and inhibits the reduction of glutathione. To this end, the authors studied the effects of the vegetable oil on galactosamine (D-Gal) and CCl_4
