When we read about the history and found that some statements related to Mao Zedong during the cross-river campaign seemed inconsistent with the facts, we now make a research on the basis of historical data. (A) On April 20 before the launch of the cross-river campaign, whether Mao Zedong and other leaders issued the cross-river battle command to the General Front Committee and the front-line troops wrote a great deal about the imminent launch of the cross-river operation on April 20. The Central Military Commission Chairman Mao Zedong and other leaders once ordered the front-line troops and front-line troops to issue an order for crossing the river. According to the orders of leaders such as Mao Zedong, the front-line forces of my country started the cross-river operation. Citing a few examples: “The confrontation between the two sides of the Kuomintang separatists” described this very concretely: On the night of April 20, our army was ready to go on the north bank of the Yangtze River. “At the moment, in Mao Zedong’s office in Peiping, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Waiting for the phone ringing ... ’President’, Zhou Enlai put down the phone. ’General front report, the Second Field Army, the Third Field Army all ready to listen to orders.’ Mao Zedong said excitedly: ’Well! We did not sleep late, waiting for their news of crossing the river. ”He then said to Chu Teh, ’Commander-in-chief, ordered to start a move.’ Zhu De picks up the phone and looks solemn: ’I’m Chu Teh. Command you: hit the Yangtze River to liberate all of China!
