Strategic Information Management is a science that enhances research and decision-making capabilities. Six of the most important aspects discussed here are the use of existing databases, the establishment of new databases, the establishment of national and regional networks, the development of technological infrastructures, the resolution of multilingual issues in information and communication, and the training of information workers and researchers . Priority themes and research topics in the social transformation management plan can be seen as central to strategic information management. Social Transformation Management is an international social science research project recently established by UNESCO to study the local impact of racial and multicultural societies, cities that are accelerating social transformation, and environmental, technological and social changes .
