祖国医学认为急性口腔炎(口疮、口疳)是一种实证,由于外感风热之邪,与心脾积热上攻口舌而成。对此,在治疗中就应以驱风去邪(解毒)和清心脾积热为主;而热病过久往往伤阴,因而同时兼顾滋阴养液。经过比较长期的临床实践,证明这个理论是正确的。我们采用白虎汤与导赤散加减,形成一个固定方剂,称为口炎方。处方加下:生地三钱木通二钱淡竹叶二钱生石膏二钱知母二钱甘草一钱麦冬三钱
