谷胱甘肽转硫酶(EC2,5,1,18 Glutathione S-Transferase GSTs)是一组具有多种生理功能的蛋白质,它催化机体内有害的极性化合物与谷胱甘肽结合,还由非酶结合方式将体内各种具有潜在毒性化学药物,染料,致癌物及亲脂性化合物从体内排出。从而达到解毒目的,它在清除机体内和外源性有害异物中起着重要作用。通过105000×g超速离心,S-己基-谷胱甘肽-Sepharose-6B亲和层析柱和DEAE_(52)纤维柱或CM_(52)纤维柱将人肝粗匀浆纯化为电泳纯的GSTs同工酶。经亲和层析柱后GSTs比活性比粗匀浆上清液提高54倍。回收率近60%。
Glutathione S-Transferase (GSTs) is a group of proteins with a variety of physiological functions that catalyze the binding of harmful polar compounds in the body to glutathione.
