(14 points) Material 1: In June 2011, the “National Main Functional Area Planning” issued by the State Council included the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang into 18 key development areas at the national level. July 27, Xinjiang Tianshan economic zone north slope planning by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government reported to the National Development and Reform Commission. Many favorable factors show that the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains has acquired a new strategic position - the country’s major economic growth pole.
