毫无疑问,1978年以来中国经济在提高人均收入水平和缩小与发达国家的差距方面取得了举世瞩目的成就。无论根据 GDP 的增长速度,还是就提高贸易在世界经济中份额的能力来衡量,中国经济都是当前世界上最显眼、最具活力的经济。中国的 GDP 在2003年已经超过了11万亿元人民币。但是,作为目前世界上人口最多的国家,考虑到人口规模,中国的人均国民收入的增长在过去25年约为每年6%—7%,低于 GDP 总量的增长差不多2个百分点。
There is no doubt that since 1978, China’s economy has made remarkable achievements in raising the per capita income level and narrowing the gap with developed countries. Measured by the rate of GDP growth or its ability to increase the share of trade in the world economy, the Chinese economy is the most prominent and the most viable economy in the world today. China’s GDP exceeded 11 trillion yuan in 2003. However, as the most populous country in the world today, taking into account population size, China’s per capita income growth has been between 6% and 7% per annum over the past 25 years, down by almost 2 percentage points from the growth of total GDP.
