以“加强国情教育”为目的编入高中语文“补充教材”第三册的《吴荪甫的失败》,是选自茅盾的长篇小说《子夜》的最后一章。要使我们的青少年从那反映民族工业资本家和买办金融资本家斗争的最后一个回合中,准确而深刻地理解国情实在是吃力的;要从半封建半殖民地的社会生活里引起“现代思考”,难度也就更大了。那么,怎样才能使学生通过学习《吴荪甫的失败》准确深刻地理解中国的昨天和今天呢?我觉得可以这样来划分我们的思维层次:
