微核实验由来较早,1959年前有人曾用微核试验研究诱发植物染色体损害。国内外报道认为此试验对筛选致染色体畸变的毒物和纺垂丝毒物极为有用。现已是广泛地应用于活体检测致突变物的染色体断裂作用中的一种较简易、快速的方法。 关于此试验方法,国内外虽都有过详细报道,但其结果都不够理想。国内报道的方法,主要缺点是胞浆不完整,核易形成团块,并带有大量红细胞,淋巴细胞提取率偏低,给评定该细胞产生的畸变率带来了一定的困难。国外报道的技术,
