In this paper, we derive the two-parameter fracture criterion that is related to the elastic nominal stress of elasticity and the two kinds of material parameters when damaged. Fracture Criterion Previously used for surface crack and penetration crack analysis of specimen and plank specimens under tension and load conditions. The fracture criterion used in this article applies to central crack tensile specimens, compact specimens and notched bend specimens made of steel, titanium or aluminum alloy and tested at room temperature. Fracture data includes a wide range of crack lengths, specimen widths and thicknesses. The analyzed material has a wide range of tensile properties. The damage stress calculated by this criterion is in good agreement with the test damage stress (± 10%). It has also been found that this criterion is relevant to the data obtained for different specimen types (eg central crack tensile specimen and compact specimen); ± 10% for the same material, thickness and test temperature.
