一九七九年元旦,當時‘年方’八十有三的美術界前輩劉篕诮淌?曾經在北京飯店為他忘年交的‘畫弟子李駱公’題過一段話:‘他(駱公)的篆刻無論在篆法上、結構上、刀法上,都能独創一格,絕不在前人的繩墨中討生活。這是他驚人可喜之處。’‘不在前人的繩墨中討生活’,這正是李駱公藝術實踐中的主要特點,讓深知駱公的劉老一语道破了。
