绿林古兵寨是国家级大洪山风景名胜区的核心景区,这里山峦叠翠,峥嵘交错,沟壑纵横,古木参天。这里不仅具峨嵋之神韵、庐山之秀美,而且,悠久的历史赋予这里厚重的文化底蕴。这里是由邑人王匡、王凤兄弟领导的中国历史上的第二次农民大起义——绿林起义的策源地。这里有汉光武帝刘秀与王匡、王凤两军合兵的会盟台;这里有世所罕见的巨大天然石门——汉天门;这里有初为王凤所建栖风寺;这里有绿林军五万人马驻军在此开垦的数千亩古汉梯田……还有历经近两千年风雨仍保存完好的古兵寨——南寨、北寨等历史人文古迹。
GuLin ancient fortress is a national scenic area of DahongShan scenic area, where Pinnacle Mountain, Zhengrong staggered, ravines, ancient towering.
