“行文求雅趣,立志作良医”。这是当年浙江文澜阁博物部主任胡师原为我学习医学古籍时的题词。虽然我远远没有达到他的期望,但我确是因此得益非浅。胡师原是一个诗人,退休后因病每周一次来我家,请家父看病,顺便辅导我学习。每次,他都出示他的诗词近作,并要我根据他所吟咏的花草虫鱼寻出《本草》中的相应记载,后每来还要求我与《诗经》相对照。这样,我每星期就得写出二、三千字的摘记。遇有音义不清之处,还得自己查看《康熙字典》或《
