我国唐代大诗人杜甫曾说:“读书破万卷,下笔如有神。”如何理解这句话的意思,倒值得我们细细斟酌一番。从杜老的字句上看,读书首当其冲,读多少呢?万卷。万卷当然是虚指,有多多益善的意思。可见,杜老首要指出的是,一个人的学习,首先要达到一个量。量变在某种程度上可以引质变,这在物理学上是有理论依据的。所以,一个孩子,在小学的六年时间里,读书,读书,再读书,这是语文教学的主旋律,而实现这个主旋律的方法之一就是与之前所提的多识字相结合。
