[Moderator language] Although the cooperation in East Asia that has gone through 20 years of history shows a declining trend, at present it faces a knotty point. On the one hand, the world economy is in a downturn and the economic environment for regional cooperation has not yet been improved. On the other hand, the United States has withdrawn from the TPP and the institutional environment for regional cooperation has been improved. Whether or not cooperation in East Asia can rise again deserves attention. The fundamental reason for the stalemate in East Asia cooperation is that the failure of East Asian countries to resolve the dominance competition in the process of regional cooperation and the failure to achieve regional cooperation
