彭雪枫将军诞生于1907年9月9日,是中国工农红军和新四军的著名战将,1944年9月11日在抗日前线指挥作战中英勇牺牲。他文韬武略,智勇双全,功垂祖国,泽被长淮,是1988年被中央军委确认的33位军事家之一,毛泽东主席赞扬他是“共产党人好榜样”。以彭雪枫革命生涯为内容创作的18集电视连续剧《彭雪枫》,以史诗般的品格,展现了“红色经典”的魅力,给革命历史人物影视画廊增添了新的艺术形象。该剧2007年9月7日至15日在中央电视台一套黄金时间播出后,全国60多家新闻媒体竞相报道,好评如潮。中央电视台收视排行结果显示,该剧平均收视率达5.5个百分点,创下同时段中央台电视剧收视率之最。2007年10月9日,中国电视艺术委员会、总政宣传部艺术局、中央电视台文艺中心和第二炮兵政治部宣传部在京联合举办电视剧《彭雪枫》研讨会,总政宣传部、中央电视台、第二炮兵领导,以及新四军老战士子女、部队代表和文艺理论家、评论家共40余人出席会议。大家一致认为:《彭雪枫》一剧在尊重历史、尊重艺术、尊重群众的基础上,实现了人物传记类重大革命和历史题材影视创作上的一次突破。本刊特选发研讨文章《崇高与壮美的深情演绎》以飨读者。
General Peng Xuefeng was born on September 9, 1907 and is a famous battle of the Red Army and the New Fourth Army of China. On September 11, 1944, he sacrificed heroically in frontline command operations against the Japanese. He was one of the 33 military strategists confirmed by the Central Military Commission in 1988.
